Episode 4 of my "Radio Show"

I’m doing another “radio show” this Friday, June 20, at 1PM Pacific, 4PM Eastern. It should last 90 minutes, more or less. This time I’ll be doing Old Friends and New Acquaintances, meaning I’ll be playing some music that hopefully you’re familiar with and some other tunes, possibly from the same or a related artist, that will possibly be new to you.

If you’re interested in attending, send me an email at [email protected] and I’ll send you the link to the Zoom meeting. If I have your email from the first or subsequent episodes you don’t need to send me another - I’ll send you an email in the next few days with the Zoom link.

Alternatively, you can sign up for and join the show via the social network that’s kind enough to host the show - ThePlayground Senior Circle (https://theplaygroundcircle.org/). It’s a free social network that’s really very lighthearted. They try to exert a little control over who can join in that you must apply to join and give them your real name. Your name doesn’t have to be what you’re known by - you can choose your own “handle”. You can reference me to help speed up the sign up process.

Just to be clear, I’m a looooong way from being a real DJ. Their breadth and depth of knowledge far exceeds mine and they generally do their shows 5 or 6 days a week. But I love music and love finding out about music and the artists and I hope to share that with you.

I don’t want to stop discussion entirely but music is the primary purpose of this show so the music will likely be loud enough that discussion during a track will be difficult at best. I’ll be talking about the tracks in between playing them so we might discuss things a bit then. The chat should be open so you’re free to comment in chat at any time.
